Dr. Amit Sood specializes in the comprehensive management of all disorders involving the shoulder utilizing shoulder arthroscopy, reconstruction and replacement. He has received advanced training in the United States and France on total and reverse shoulder replacement surgery through his fellowship at Harvard and brings his expertise to Bergen County, NJ. Dr. Sood has also authored multiple research publications and book chapters in the orthopaedic literature and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). In addition to comprehensive management of the shoulder, Dr. Sood also treats conditions involving the hand, wrist, hip, knee, foot and ankle. Treatments include trauma/fracture care, sports treatment/arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery.
