We’re Offering Telemedicine Appointments to Keep You Safe, Healthy

Emergency Care is Available at 3 of Our Locations

As our community continues to battle the COVID-19 virus, the team at Kayal Orthopaedic Center is committed to keeping you safe while providing you with the care you need.

We’d like to share some of the steps we are taking to continue to provide all of the orthopaedic services you need, including treatment for joint pain, spinal issues, inflammation, neuropathy, osteoporosis, arthritis and sports medicine issues in Paramus, NJ, and beyond.

We are treating all patients who need emergency care at our Paramus, Franklin Lakes and Glen Rock offices. If you need an appointment, please call us so that we can fully prepare for your visit. Plus, to continue to serve you during this challenging time, we are offering appointments and consultations through telemedicine. If you have a computer or mobile device, we will use FaceTime or Skype for your appointment. Please contact us and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You also can call us at 844.777.0910. If you do not have the technology required for a video consultation, we will handle your appointment by telephone.

We’re Also Taking These Steps for Everyone’s Safety

We are staying informed on the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and from state and local government agencies. With that in mind, we also want you to know the precautions we are taking to keep you safe during office visits. We are committed to keeping our facilities as clean and sanitary as possible.

  1. We have significantly increased the frequency of cleaning all of our facilities, with particular attention to patient check-in tablets, countertops, exam room tables and chairs, bathroom facilities, door handles, seat arms and all points of common contact.
  2. We’ve increased signage around our facilities and are screening patients upon arrival for risk factors.
  3. We are asking our staff to please stay home if they have a cough, cold or fever of any kind, or if they think that they may have been exposed to the virus.
  4. Instead of scheduling an appointment at our office, we are asking patients to contact their primary care physician or their local emergency room (if they do not have a primary care physician) for evaluation if they have a significant cough, cold or fever; if they have recently traveled to China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Italy or Iran; or they have been exposed to someone potentially infected with COVID-19.

Of course, good hygiene never goes out of style. But as we try to protect ourselves, our loved ones and everyone around us from this virus, it’s more important than ever. If you have cold or flu symptoms or are not feeling well, please stay home. You can find other recommendations from the CDC here.
