Kayal Orthopaedic Center Donates $105,000 to 10 Charities

Recipient Agencies Improve Lives Locally, Nationally and Globally

In June, inspired by the peaceful protesters, we announced plans to distribute a total of $100,000 to charitable organizations in an effort to help improve the lives of our brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need. We asked members of our diverse Kayal Orthopaedic Center work family to choose the charities—charities that mattered to them.

“I was blown away by the depth and breadth of the agencies that were chosen,” said Dr. Robert A. Kayal, founder and CEO of Kayal Orthopaedic Center. “Our employees selected organizations that are doing life-changing work in so many important areas, including homeless and prison outreach, HIV/AIDS support, racial inequality, disaster relief, clean water, hunger, education and helping our veterans and police officers. We increased our donation total to $105,000, which is being divided among 10 different charities. We pray our effort helps improve the lives of some of our brothers and sisters—near and far—in meaningful ways. God bless them all.”
