Christine Yun, LAc
Licensed Acupuncturist
Christine Yun is a New York- and New Jersey-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She received her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Certification in Herbal Medicine at Eastern School of
Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine.
She is proficient in Korean Saam Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Japanese Kiiko Style Acupuncture. Her experience with different styles of acupuncture has contributed to her specialty: Comprehensive Stress Management. Her main focus is treating both physical and emotional stresses: orthopaedics, gastrointestinal, gynecological, anxiety and depression.
Acupuncture is an excellent tool to promote our body's ability to regenerate and heal naturally. It stimulates many parts of the brain, including pain control centers and emotion control centers. It has been scientifically proven that acupuncture treatments produce those "feel good" hormones, such as
endorphins and serotonin. Research also shows acupuncture can regulate the immune system and improve our resistance to seasonal infections.
Christine’s goal as an acupuncturist is to help her patients improve their overall wellbeing so they can live a better quality of life with their family and friends.
